About this course
The Introduction to Leadership and Management Programme is perfect for those who are new to management. This people focused qualification is designed to understand and develop management and leadership skills. The Award level is ideal for candidates who have had little formal management training or who wish to refocus on their skills and techniques for building, managing and leading a team. As well as introducing learners to the various leadership styles it also covers how to motivate and empower your team through development of working relationships and effective delegation.
This programme includes DiSC Work of Leaders personality profile which will provide each delegate with a personalised report on their leadership style.

What you will study
The Programme consists of 4 delivery days covering key topics.
Units include:
- 308 Understanding Leadership
- 319 Understanding Organising and Delegating in the Workplace
- 334 Understanding and Developing Relationships in the Workplace
Assessment is via a project based assignment relevant to the workplace. Candidates should be prepared to carry out self-study and assignment writing between each of the workshops.
