About this course
This programme is essential for any middle or senior manager who is either completely new to managing people or who has found themselves with an expanding team of people to manage. From human resource planning to individual performance and personal development plans, this award provides key skills, techniques and legal know how to allow managers to manage with confidence and carry out their role as People Manager effectively.
What you will study
Delivered over 6 days this award will focus on recruitment, performance gap analysis and assessment, formal appraisals, planning individual development and evaluating the effectiveness of training.
Units include:
- 514 Managing Recruitment
- 505 Managing Individual Development
Assessment is via a project based assignment relevant to the workplace. Candidates should be prepared to carry out self-study and assignment writing between each of the workshops.
