About this course
Managing performance can be complex and challenging, especially for new line managers. This programme supports new line managers in developing knowledge and understanding in how to manage performance in the workplace. This programme enables learners to develop knowledge and understanding of conflict management and motivation theory and how it can be applied in the workplace to improve performance as required by a practising or potential first line manager.
What you will study
The programme consists of 3 delivery days and key topics include performance management, conflict management and how to motivate to improve performance.

- 312 Understanding Conflict Management
- 310 How to Motivate to Improve Performance
Assessment is via a project based assignment relevant to the workplace. Candidates should be prepared to carry out self-study and assignment writing between each of the workshops.
