About this course

With more middle and senior managers finding themselves managing complex activities and projects or new contracts, The Project Manager programme will provide organisational skills and techniques to keep a project on track, control budgets and communicate effectively to bring a project to fruition. From planning to implementing and then monitoring results, this programme provides essential skills to any middle manager or project manager/coordinator.

What you will study

This programme is delivered over 6 days with a focus on managing projects within the organisation and managing the resources.

Units Include:

  • 511 Managing Projects in the Organisation
  • 512 Managing Resources

Assessment is via a project based assignment relevant to the workplace. Candidates should be prepared to carry out self-study and assignment writing between each of the workshops. 

Funding

We have funding available for this course. Through Upskilling@Work, we are able to provide up to 70% funding for businesses. 

Upskilling@Work is a funded operation supported by the European Social Fund through the Welsh Government. Cardiff and Vale College has access to over £5m worth of funding which has already benefited over 700 employed individuals with part or fully funded courses.
