About this course
The role of team leader is both challenging and critical to the successful performance of a team. It is often an individual’s first steps into people management and the role can be the linchpin of many projects or organisational goals. With both established and aspiring team leaders in mind, this programme is designed to develop the knowledge of what makes a team effective and introduces skills and techniques to motivate a team effectively.

What you will study
The programme consists of three delivery days and key topics include establishing an effective team, organising work and motivating for performance and results.
Units include:
- 341 Leading and Motivating a Team Effectively
- 309 Understanding How to Establish an Effective Team
- 319 Understanding Organisingand Delegating in the Workplace
Assessment is via a project based assignment relevant to the workplace. Candidates should be prepared to carry out self-study and assignment writing between each of the workshops
