About this course
In a dynamic business world, we can each face changes and new challenges daily. Our Change Champion programme explores the various skills and processes necessary to identify, plan and implement change within an organisation. Particularly suited to project managers or individuals who have been tasked with a programme of business change, the skills developed on our Award will boost confidence and provide techniques to successfully facilitate change in an organisation. If your role involves implementing change or project management, this is an excellent introduction to help you formally develop the necessary skills and techniques to become a Change Champion.
What you will study
The programme consists of 3 delivery days and key topics include techniques for problem solving, gathering informative and qualitative data, planning and managing change.
Units include:
- 300 Solving Problems and Making Decisions
- 301 Understanding Innovation and Change
- 302 Planning Change in the Workplace
Assessment is via a project based assignment relevant to the workplace. Candidates should be prepared to carry out self-study and assignment writing between each of the workshops.
Funding
We have funding available for this course. Through Upskilling@Work, we are able to provide up to 70% funding for businesses.
Upskilling@Work is a funded operation supported by the European Social Fund through the Welsh Government. Cardiff and Vale College has access to over £5m worth of funding which has already benefited over 700 employed individuals with part or fully funded courses.
