About this course
Most people are thrown into the role of Minute Taker with little or no training, and at times it can be a daunting task.
Meetings are necessary and important to companies but cost money, so businesses need a meaningful record of the key points discussed, decisions made and who agreed to do what. This course will help the Minute Taker to become more confident and use practical tools and techniques to produce minutes that are accurate, clear, concise and reader friendly.
What you will study

• clarify the roles and responsibilities of the Chair and the Minute Taker
• describe the various types and formats of agenda and
• explain the essential actions to take before, during and after the meeting
• demonstrate and coach you in the essential skills of listening, note taking and the use of professional language
