Throughout the course, you will gain essential teaching skills such as planning and delivering inclusive teaching sessions, assessing work and giving constructive feedback. Modules include:

  • Understanding Roles, Responsibilities and Relationships in Education and Training
  • Understanding and Using Inclusive Teaching and Learning Approaches in Education and Training
  • Understanding Assessment in Education and Training

Assessment

To achieve this qualification, you will need to attend all sessions dates, submit a written assignment to a set deadline and deliver a micro-teach lesson.You will receive guidance and ongoing support from your tutor throughout your course, including during your tutorial session as well as via email, Microsoft TEAMS and phone. Self-study time is essential to help you complete your assignments and prepare for your assessment – so be sure to plan your schedule accordingly.

You are eligible for this course if you:

  • are aged 19 or over
  • are not in full time education
  • can attend all workshop dates
  • hold a A*- C in GCSE English or equivalent or higher
  • are looking to progress or start your career in Teaching and Training adults across a wide range of organisations
