About this course

This course provides an introduction to the ‘language of finance’ and the make-up of Financial Statements, including Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet and Cashflow Statement, including clarification of terminology.

This is then expanded into managing costs through exploring cost type and behaviour. This provides the ground work to explore basic budgeting and dealing with variances.

Finally, an introduction to basic interpretation of Financial Statements, this includes Gross Profit, Net Profit, how long our customers are taking to pay us, how long we are taking to pay suppliers and how long we are holding stock etc.

This course is delivered online via Microsoft Teams from 9.30am – 1pm.
