The ILM Level 7 Certificate is a nationally recognised qualification that has been designed for senior managers or HR/OD professionals seeking to develop their expertise and credibility in the fields of coaching and mentoring on an organisational level.

What you will study

To gain your ILM Level 7 qualification, you will be required to attend 8x mandatory face-to-face classes. You will also be expected to conduct self-study to write 3x Unit Assignments to set deadlines. These assignments include an academic assignment, a portfolio of 20 hours of Coaching within an organisation, and a reflective journal.

Tutorial to be scheduled directly between you and your ILM Tutor once the course has commenced.

Units Covered in this qualification:

  • Unit 700: Understanding the Context of Coaching and Mentoring in a Strategic Business Environment
  • Unit 701: Undertaking Coaching or Mentoring at a Senior and Strategic Level
  • Unit 703: Reflecting on Your Own Ability to Perform Effectively as a Coach or Mentor Practising at a Senior Level

Once you have passed, you will receive a nationally recognised certificate and a digital accreditation badge.

Entry requirements

Course and Enrolment Fee payment to be made upon enrolment. To be eligible for this qualification, you must: - be in employment in a Senior Management or HR/OD Professional role (due to the reflective nature of the qualification assignments). - upload a minimum 500-word Personal Statement when applying to outline your interest in obtaining this qualification - upload evidence of your highest qualification to date e.g. GCSE or Degree Certificate All applications, personal statements and qualification evidence will be assessed by our Course Tutors. The team will then be in touch to confirm your overall suitability for this level of ILM qualification. Please note that we cannot process applications without a Personal Statement, and you may be asked to evidence your employment status!
