About this course

The benefits of coaching in a workplace are vast and this one-day session will help you explore how an effective coaching culture could support and encourage your organisation to be the best they can be

Whether you support others through line management or a one-to-one capacity, this high-level introduction is suitable for all and will help you build your own coaching skills.

By the end of the day, you will have gained an insight into the skills required to successfully coach others through listening and questioning. You will also be introduced to some of the tools used in coaching as well as coaching models which could be applied to your workplace.

What you will study

This course is delivered onsite at our City Centre Campus from 9.30am – 4pm.

During this course you will be introduced to coaching and mentoring principles with an emphasis on the following:

  • Outline the benefits of Coaching within the workplace
  • Explore the skills and qualities required for effective coaching
  • Develop your understanding of best practice
  • Discuss popular models, tools and techniques used by coaches to help their clients unlock their potential, overcome barriers, and make positive changes for the future

You will also have opportunity to put your new skills into practice!

You are eligible for this course if you:

  • are aged 19+
  • are not in full time education
  • can attend the entire session
