CIPD Associate Diploma in Organisational Learning and Development

This course is delivered through facilitated sessions, structured learning and one-to-one support at our City Centre Campus every Thursday (term time only) from 9.30am – 2.30pm, for 18 months.  

The course and qualification are built around the CIPD Profession Map that sets the international benchmark for people professionals, combining a set of core values, knowledge and behaviours which guide people professionals in their decision-making and actions. 

The course will combine key theories and models, along with real life case studies and organisational best practice. 

Content and Assessment:

To obtain this qualification, you will be required to write and submit unit assignments to set deadlines (approximately 4000 words per assignment). There are 7 units overall:  

3 core units 

• Organisational Performance and Culture in Practice
• Evidence-Based Practice
• Professional Behaviours and Valuing People 

3 specialist units 

• Support Informal and Self-Directed Learning 
• Design Learning and Development Programmes to Create Value
• Facilitate Structured Learning and Development Activities for Groups 

1 additional unit 

• Specialist Employment Law 

CIPD Memberships: 

All students will require an active CIPD Membership throughout the duration of their qualification. We will invite you to register your Membership upon enrolment.  

Administration Fee: £45.00

Awarding Organisation Fee: £154.00

Course Fee: £2,791.00

You are eligible for this course if you:

• are aged 19 or over
• are not in full time education
• can attend all workshop dates
• hold a A*- C in GCSE English or equivalent
• ideally hold a CIPD Foundation Certificate in People Practice Level 3
• are working in a senior people practice role leading and managing people and practice within organisations or have experience working as in a senior people practice role

• The College welcomes contact with parents/guardians of students who are under 18.
