What you will study
Consisting of 7 Core units aligned to the core knowledge and behaviour standards of the CIPD Profession Map at Associate Level:
1. Organisational performance and culture in practice
2. Evidence-based practice
3. Professional behaviours and valuing people
4. Specialist employment law
5. Supporting self-directed and social learning
6. Learning and development design to create value
7. Facilitate personalised and performance focused learning
Leading to Associate membership of CIPD: 42 Credits.
Teaching and assessment
The course will be delivered through face-to-face, classroom-based learning every week.
To obtain this qualification, you will need to submit assignments for every unit.

Course Fee: £2,700.00
Entry requirements
You must be:
• currently working in a HR related role, or have experience working in a HR related role:
• able to provide certification of relevant qualifications e.g. GCSE's, CIPD Level 3 or Degree certificates
After applying, you will be sent a Personal Statement Questionnaire to complete and later discuss in a Virtual interview with the Course Tutor who will assess your suitability for this level of CIPD qualification against CIPD guidelines. If successful, you will be given with an offer to enrol. Once enrolled, CAVC will send you a link to set up your CIPD Membership (if you do not have one already) which is essential to completing any CIPD qualification. Please note that the course cost does not cover CIPD Membership as it is a personal membership.

I think Cardiff and Vale College have got very good reputation. They definitely know what they're doing in terms of teaching styles. They're extremely flexible. I think that you'll definitely get a lot of benefit out of coming, because there's so much that you can learn. There's such a variety of modules on this course, and there's definitely something that I've taken away from every single one of them.
Career prospects & further study
Once completed, you could progress onto a CIPD Level 7 in Strategic People Management if you meet the course entry requirements.
