The ILM Level 5 Award is a nationally recognised qualification that has been designed for Project Managers, Middle Managers and Department Heads who are seeking to move up to their next level of management.
This interactive course will develop your ability to think and reflect critically. You will discover how to critically assess the validity of management theories in relation to own beliefs, attitudes and values. Before exploring the purpose of coaching and mentoring; understanding the skills and principles required for effective coaching or mentoring within an organisational context.

To gain your ILM Level 5 Award qualification, you will be required to attend 5x mandatory face-to-face classes, 1x online tutorial day and self-study to write 3x Unit Assignments (approx. 2500 words per assignment) to set deadlines.
Day 1: 8th January 2025
Day 2: 9th January 2025
Day 3: 12th February 2025
Day 4: 13th February 2025
Day 5: 13th March 2025
Tutorial to be scheduled directly between you and your ILM Tutor once the course has commenced.

- Unit 503: Developing Critical Thinking
- Unit 550: Understanding the Skills, Principles and Practice of Effective Coaching and mentoring within an Organisational Context.
