Fully funded by Multiply, this Financial Services Academy has been co-designed with leading financial organisations to provide a range of skills required to break into professional services. Including DiSC, Team Leadership skills, and Interview skills

What you will study

This course is delivered onsite from 6pm to 9pm, 2 evenings a week for 6 weeks. Additionally, there will be 2 Saturday sessions that will run from 9:30 to 4pm. Please see dates below! 


Day 1: Tuesday 18th February (6pm – 9pm)

Day 2: Thursday 20th February (6pm – 9pm)

Day 3: Saturday 22nd February (9.30am – 4.30pm)

Day 4: Tuesday 25th February (6pm – 9pm)

Day 5: Thursday 27th February (6pm – 9pm)

Day 6: Tuesday 4th March (6pm – 9pm)

Day 7: Thursday 6th March (6pm – 9pm)

Day 8: Tuesday 11th March (6pm – 9pm)

Day 9: Thursday 13th March (6pm – 9pm)

Day 10: Tuesday 18th March (6pm – 9pm)

Day 11: Thursday 20th March (6pm – 9pm)

Day 12: Saturday 22nd March (9.30am – 4.30pm)

Day 13: Tuesday 25th March (6pm – 9pm)

Day 14: Thursday 27th March (6pm – 9pm)


Training days and workshops have been designed to build your knowledge, confidence, and skills desired by employers within the sector whilst obtaining industry recognised qualifications such as Microsoft Office Specialist Awards in Excel and City & Guild Awards.

Entry requirements

This programme is funded through Multiply. To be eligible to enrol, you must:

  • Be aged 19 or over
  • Be able to provide evidence that you currently work and/or live in Cardiff and the Vale e.g. ID, Utility Bill, Employment Contract with full address clearly stated
  • Be dedicated to attending all sessions from 9.30am – 4:00pm.

After completing this course you can go on to complete the full 2-year Extended Diploma. Many students progress onto courses at university, others go directly into employment. CAVC offers a HNC in Sport Coaching which if competed successfully leads on to a top up at Cardiff Metropolitan University to complete the full degree course.
